Fidgeting Could Be Good For You
An article in the Tyler Courier-Times Telegraph indicated that researchers who have been studying human behavior have found that thin people fidget more than heavy people. All of that moving around burns up calories that could become fat.
The researchers are not recommending fidgeting as a way of losing weight, but this may be an easy way to take a few inches off our middles.
The article goes on to emphasize that 20 minutes of regular aerobic exercise three or more times a week is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.
This got us to thinking about ways to be more productive at work and lose calories at the same time. Bosses would prefer employees worked harder and faster, and it may be they now have found the best way to increase production and make employees happy.
So, don’t be surprised when a memo comes out recognizing the employee who fidgeted more and lost the most weight at the same time.
Calm people of the world unite!
