Under-Loved and Under-Appreicated
Some people we know recently purchased a little Boxer puppy. It was very cute and very lovable.
The six-year old dog already part of the family wasn’t as impressed. The puppy got a lot of attention and love. The older dog got to watch.
It’s easy to forget about employees who have been around and have been loyal, hardworking diehards. It’s easy to take these people for granted.
New employees, like puppies, need attention. Left alone, they can create messes, which have to be quickly attended to.
The “Old Dogs” have learned new tricks. They’re house-trained and just as appreciative of attention as the new pups. Don’t forget your “Old Dogs.”
